Cote-a-cas éditions takes its name from my forum username in the 2000s, cas.mallet. On the forums R2D2Menace, Attakus, Mintinbox, Objectible, and SwissCollector, where I shared my passion for collectible figures, members would ask me for object valuations; the expression "ask cas for the valuations" inspired the choice of this name.
The brand's identity gradually formed around this name. It first took the form of the website cote-a-cas.net, then expanded with cac3d.com and the launch of the Cote-a-cas éditions brand. Today, all editorial and commercial activities are grouped under cac-editions.com, embodying the continuity of the same passion for valuing and assessing collectible objects.
