During Fariboles Productions' open days in Darnétal, everything sped up.
I then submitted the idea to Pascal Rodier — who had written the preface for Cac3D a few years prior — to create an exclusive collector's box set for cote-a-cas 🎯
The concept: to bring together the Cac3D book and an original figurine, to highlight both Fariboles' work and cote-a-cas'.
I then suggested a scene from Peyo's Schtroumpfonie in C:
👉 a Smurf lying on Gargamel's grimoire 📖💙
And then... everything became real.
✅ Pascal Rodier accepted and began sculpting the grimoire, right in front of the fans present that day 👀
✅ Alban Ficat brought the Smurf, lying on the book, to life
A few months later, the collector's box set was released...
🎉 99 copies, sold out in just a few hours.
A success that marked a real turning point and launched cote-a-cas éditions towards new perspectives 🚀
