History of the Tom & Jerry

Tom and Jerry is a series of American animated short films, originally created by directors William Hanna and Joseph Barbera and broadcast since February 10, 1940.

The series aired from February 10, 1940 to September 8, 1967 on CBS, from September 6, 1975 to December 9, 1982 in syndication, from September 8, 1990 to November 18, 1994 in the Fox Kids programming block on the FOX network, from September 23, 2006 to March 22, 2008 in the Kids' WB programming block on The CW Television Network, then from March 1, 2014 to March 12, 2016 on Cartoon Network, then from September 21, 2017 to December 2, 2019 on Boomerang and then from January 11, 2020 to 19 February 2021 on Cartoon Network App.
